PALM BEACH & MARTIN COUNTIES, FLORIDA

What you build
next could be
someone.

You know what it takes to build something.
Imagine what happens when you pass it on.

Exceptional young people, ages 15–20, in Palm Beach and Martin Counties. Accomplished local leaders. One relationship that opens a world of possibility.

EXPERIENCE MEETS POSSIBILITY
SCROLL TO DISCOVER

Talent is everywhere.
Access isn’t.

Some young people have the drive. Some have an extraordinary gift. What they may not have is someone who can open the right door.

The Legacy Council is being built to connect promising young people with leaders who have built businesses, solved hard problems, and learned what no textbook can teach. Technical trades and hands-on STEM are the starting point. Confidence, opportunity, and lasting relationships are the bigger story.

Real people.

A sustained relationship with someone who has been there.

Real experience.

See how a business works. Build toward something tangible.

Real possibility.

A business idea, a credential, or a path you hadn’t imagined.

02 / FROM POSSIBILITY TO PROOF

A small circle.
A lasting ripple.

Two stages designed for different moments in a young person’s life. Each begins with a trusted nomination.

7
Fellows in each proposed annual cohort, plus Scholars reached through school visits.
Every relationship matters.
01

LEGACY COUNCIL SCHOLARS · AGES 15–17

See what’s possible.

Career exposure, job shadowing, financial literacy, and the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Scholars mentors commit to brief, school-based career exposure visits and conversations, coordinated with partner schools. Every mentor is background-screened before working with participants under 18.

Observation. Conversation. A wider horizon.
02

LEGACY COUNCIL FELLOWSHIP · AGES 18–20

Build something real.

One-to-one mentor pairing, immersion in real businesses, and a proposed micro-grant to help launch a small venture or pursue a credential.

A relationship. A plan. Something to show for it.
03

THE FELLOWSHIP GALA

Own your moment.

An invitation-only evening where Fellows share what they built and how far they have come—in their own words. Every Fellow gets the spotlight.

A celebration of progress. Never a competition.

TWO WAYS POTENTIAL SHOWS UP

Drive gets our attention.
Talent does, too.

There is no single story of promise. Both pathways value what a young person is already showing the world.

The Drive Pathway

For young people showing initiative despite real obstacles. Already working. Already building. Already asking the right questions.

The Talent Pathway

For exceptional, demonstrated ability: an independent invention, a remarkable technical project, a creative breakthrough.

Known for their work. Nominated by someone who knows it.

A teacher, counselor, workforce professional, or trusted youth organization personally puts a candidate forward. No public applications. No browsable mentor roster.

03 / A COMMITMENT YOU CAN SEE

You don’t need
all the answers.
Just a seat beside them.

Share the decisions, lessons, and experience that shaped you. Gain a fresh perspective from the generation building what comes next.
